Pre-OPDL Academy U11-U12

Introduction
The Pre-OPDL ages focuses on a program that will continue to progress each individual player while beginning to introduce more team-oriented development. Teams will prepare for future success at the provincial and national level through an extensive program based on our proven track record in North America.

Players will be offered training that is delivered by their individual team coach as well as a member of OSU Force Academy's Technical Staff. Ultimately, players graduating from Pre-OPDL will move into the Ontario Player Development League program at Under 13.

Program Structure
- 36-38 week training program with structured breaks
- 7 v 7 Winter Play (max roster  - 12 players)
- 9 v 9 Summer Play (max roster - 14 players)
- 5-Day Team Training Camp in July
- Periodized training program with primary emphasis on individual technical development while offering introduction to four corner development model of technical, tactical, physical, and social elements within training
- 2 squad training sessions per week
- 1 Centre of Excellence Training per week
- Participation within designated local festivals
- Participation within 1 memorable event (team) per phase.

Weekly Training Program consists of:
- Two training sessions per week (team based)
- Game play
- Centre of Excellence Training with Club Technical Staff
- Centre of Excellence is mandated as part of U11& U12 Force Academy Program

Program Registration & Costs
Program registration occurs immediately following the Fall Trials. Players will be sent an official invitation to join OSU Force Academy for the period of October - September of the following year. Program costs are divided and paid on a monthly basis, after an initial deposit due in October.

We do not want to discourage players who wish to join the Force Academy but demonstrate financial needs, in these cases, families should contact Academy Manager Jim Lianos to learn about alternative funding opportunities and payment plans.
